This is a highly powerful note taking app. This is something I discovered in 2020 and its really shifted my views on data ownership. Before this I’ve tried OneNote, Evernote, Google Docs, etc. Obsidian won me over because of the use of the open format markdown and the ease of linking to other notes. You add in the plugin ecosystem and the fact that the dev team is Canadian and I can’t imagine not having obsidian.
